How are you handling charges for shipping?
Because this is our first Kickstarter campaign and our first campaign with physical goods, we are setting shipping costs by country as part of pledge tiers with physical goods. If you do not see your country listed but would like a physical copy of Land of Vampires (or other supplements), please use the contact form at dndduet.com/contact-us to let me know, and I’ll work out a shipping quote to you. We love that we have a global audience, and we are so excited to get this campaign into your hands!
Shipping costs will be added onto your pledge as you select your tier based on your location.

What about customs?
If you are outside the US and your country charges customs on orders from the US above a certain price-point threshold, you will need to cover those charges and complete any steps necessary to get your order to you.

Do you have a VTT-compatible option of Land of Vampires?
Not yet, but we would love to! Our $25,000 stretch goal is a VTT version of the campaign for Roll20 and for Fantasy Grounds which would then be available as pledge add-ons. Outside of that stretch goal, all pledges that include a digital or print copy of the Land of Vampires campaign will receive a digital map pack with gridless and marker-free versions of the maps for adding to your VTT of choice!

If I've already purchased the PDF version of Land of Vampires or have it from the Patreon, what's different about the version in the campaign, especially if I'm looking at the digital-only option?
(Campaign spoilers in answer! GM’s eyes only!) The biggest difference from the digital version that’s part of the Kickstarter and the chapter sets of the digital campaign from our shop is going to be cohesiveness and navigation. We published the compiled chapter parts as we went, so there are some small things that changed along the way—all those are adjusted now. You’ll also have all the creatures together, maps together, etc. in the appendix, which wasn’t possible with separate sets of PDFs.
We’ve also added in more about Lord Draego based on comments and questions from other people’s campaigns, so there’s more assistance for GMs to incorporate him into the campaign and personalize his character.
The major impact that we wanted for this campaign—especially with our long-time supporters and previous purchasers in mind—was offering a print edition. This campaign is lengthy, and the print-on-demand costs for individual copies is high. With the Kickstarter, we can print in bulk and, ideally, adapt our business model to have copies on hand that we can ship out on a regular basis after the campaign.
The other significant change that we’re hoping to make a reality with this campaign would be with adding a Part Two. It will include the two missing fanes as well as Rasonov and Barasov (two of my favorite cities in Steymhorod!). The expansion to Part Two even allows the PC to reintegrate Steymhorod with the rest of Azuria which, as you might imagine, is super cool and dramatic!

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
